Growing up in St. Helena, I remember buying penny candy at the Sweet Shoppe and bubble gum at Keller’s Market, where the owner always threatened to tell my dentist father. There were two dime stores located on Main Street. Even the feed store was in the downtown business district on Main Street. Many of the stores have changed as this has become a world-famous wine-growing region, but the small town character and friendliness is still an important part of St. Helena today.

After graduating from college and teaching at the high school level, I married an architect, and together we built houses, apartments and offices, giving me first hand experience in: construction management, financing, interior decoration, rental management and marketing.

Because I enjoyed the challenge of business, I started my own real estate office. Later I joined Up Valley Associates. In 1997, I chose to specialize in rental management and opened RentNapaValley, Professional Property Management. This unique combination of experience has enabled me to better relate to the needs of owners and tenants, since I have “been there” myself. I am dedicated to honest, competent service to both owners and tenants.

Kristi joined Professional Property Management in August 2004. She spent all of her childhood and young adult years living in St. Helena, so she knows the valley well.

Recently moved back to the Napa Valley after living in Hawaii for a few years. She is enjoying watching the change of seasons here in the Napa Valley, especially in the vineyards.

She has a BA from Pacific Union College, and a BS and a certificate from the University of Hawaii. Although she has spent the majority of her time studying biology and marine mammals, she also has considerable education in management and business.

Her written and spoken Spanish ability has been a big asset to our business. She owns rental homes, so she has first-hand knowledge of the intricacies of property management. Also has had the tenant’s perspective. She is very detail oriented and makes the details of Property Management her priority.
